The picture
A mowed lawn under a grove of tall, slender trees with high canopies, some in red foliage, runs from the right down to a riverbank at left; the river is calm and pale, with dark boats or a landing at the near shore and a wooded far bank under a sky shading from blue to orange-pink at the horizon; a single wooden bench stands on the lawn at right, and a light-colored building or pavilion shows among the trees at far right.
