A crowded street intersection: a large corner hotel or commercial building with two tiers of open verandas at left, awnings along the storefronts, a dense crowd of men in straw hats and women in white filling the street, a streetcar on curving track at center, a second streetcar beyond, horses and carriages at left and right, and a tall clock or bell tower at the end of the street.
