JOHN WALTERS, blacksmith and wagon builder, and dealer in aaricujtural implements, Gdgerton ; born in Devonshire, England, April 22, 1849 ; son of William and Sarah (Cudlips) Walters. Married, Dec. 25, 1870, Miss Mary Jane Westlake, of Devonshire, England ; they have three children — Wesley, Elizabeth A. and Mary E. He is a blacksmith, which he learned with his fatl^er in England, and served seven years. Came to America, landing in Quebec, Canada, July 30, 1870 ; came to Wisconsip and commenced work in Edgerton for two and a half years, and then opened his present busines.-. Member of Temple of Honor.
